NexGen AI Energy and Suntech partner at SNEC 2026 to accelerate solar in Malaysia

SNEC PV+ 2026, Shanghai · June 2026

At SNEC 2026 — the world's largest solar exhibition — NexGen AI Energy and global module maker Suntech announced a strategic partnership to accelerate high-efficiency solar deployment across Malaysia and neighbouring Southeast Asian markets.

The collaboration pairs Suntech's high-performance photovoltaic products with NexGen's local market expertise, established networks and project development capability — combining global manufacturing strength with on-the-ground delivery in Malaysia.

The partnership is centred on Suntech's Ultra T 3.0 quarter-cut module, built on the latest TOPCon cell technology for higher efficiency, better heat performance and lower levelised cost of energy — well suited to Malaysia's commercial and industrial rooftops.

Together, the two companies aim to expand access to bankable, high-efficiency solar for factories, warehouses and commercial sites — supporting regional clean-energy growth and decarbonisation as Malaysia advances its energy transition.
